Asset Information Management Coordinator

In this role, you will provide asset information management (AIM) services to the Fort Hills Operations and Maintenance teams, cross-functional teams (CFT) and Management of Change (MOC) teams throughout the lifecycle of asset information within the Engineering Data Management Systems (EDMS) system.

You will use your expertise to:

  • Be the point of contact for all AIM coordination support for the designated area within Fort Hills
  • Prioritize and manage multiple assignments while meeting requirements of defined Service Level Agreements
  • Become the subject matter expert or super user of EDMS
  • Collaborate with team members, CFT and contractors to ensure compliance to Suncor standards, procedures and protocols
  • Perform visual audits and interpret EDMS audits on data to identify quality and completeness
  • Assist in preparing AIM Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI) or stewardship and report on the progress of closed and outstanding purchase orders
  • Coordinate document submissions between external contractors and vendors
  • Ensure all required documents are tag cross referenced per Suncor standards
  • Process technical change management documents following change management procedures

Must-haves (minimum requirements):

  • 5 – 10 years of experience in Information  Management within an oil and gas or industrial setting
  • A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

Preference for:

  • A diploma or certificate in Records and Information Management
  • Capability of handling several tasks while focusing on quality and completion of deliverables
  • The ability to organize complex data and build custom reports
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of electronic and physical information workflow and life cycles
  • Strong collaboration skills that enable you to build strong, positive relationships with diverse groups
  • A continuous improvement mindset and are able to seek greater knowledge and understanding of the systems, process and hazards in the workplace

Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other meaningful information:

  • You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
