Health and Wellness Advisor

In this role, reporting to the manager of our health and wellness programs, you will use your strong project management and organizational skills to drive the design, development, implementation and continuous improvement of workplace wellness programs.

You will use your expertise to:

  • Provide project management support to develop and sustain Health and Wellness standards, practices and processes
  • Develop and implement change management and communication plans associated with Health and Wellness projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal functional partners, including Communications, Learning and Competence, Legal, Labour Relations and Human Resources
  • Coordinate training development for Health and Wellness business processes, systems and tools
  • Drive the implementation of the enterprise Wellness Strategy and Program
  • Plan and develop Health and Wellness communications material
  • Manage the Employee and Family Assistance (EFAP) program contract

Must-haves (minimum requirements):

  • Five years of experience working in a large multifaceted organization with project management experience
  • A bachelor's degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience and relevant education
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong understanding of internal and external regulatory and non-regulatory Health and Wellness environment and business drivers (e.g. privacy and  human rights legislation)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to collaborate and build positive relationships
  • A continuous improvement mindset with strong analytical and decision-making capacity
  • Alignment with our values of: safety above all else, respect, raise the bar, commitments matter and do the right thing

Preference for:

  • Oil and gas and/or mining sector experience

Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other meaningful information:

  • You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
