Pensions Advisor - Total Rewards

In this advisory role, you will be a key member of our pension community of expertise. You will work with your team to support the governance, development and sustainment of programs through thoughtful partnership and teamwork, crafting a sustainable culture that supports the long-term health and financial well-being for our employees, company and our pension plans.

You will use your expertise to:

  • Support the development of our Canadian and International pension and savings plans’ communications, strategy and design
  • Provide internal consulting support to key business partners
  • Collaborate both internally and externally to resolve a variety of complex issues/escalations related to compliance and the changing business and pension regulatory environments
  • Support the monitoring and auditing of pension vendors and partners and ensure governance and service standards are met/exceeded and costs are monitored and controlled
  • Provide strategic support for our programs and business initiatives
  • Build and implement continuous improvement initiatives in our international program governance

Must-haves (minimum requirements):

  • Eight years of pensions and savings experience within diverse business environments
  • Robust governance and program experience on a global scale
  • Deep knowledge of pensions and both employment and labour standards in relation to program design and governance
  • Post-secondary education, preferably with a finance or human resources background
  • A passion for being a dedicated teammate with outstanding communication, interpersonal skills and strong initiative
  • Excellent analytical and multitasking skills to prioritize work within tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to work independently to resolve complex issues in a dynamic team environment, while delivering to internal and regulatory compliance requirements

Preference for:

  • Experience with global total rewards

Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other important information:

  • The work location is flexible and you will be able to work remotely.
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
  • This is a temporary position for a period of 18-24 months
