Specialist, Enterprise Content Management

We are seeking a enterprise content management (ECM) specialist to work closely with all teams (Suncor and Outsourced Managed Services teams) to manage expectations and scope for daily operational activities as well as small enhancements or operational projects executed by operations team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure, provide technical leadership, and support our content management platforms.

You will use your expertise to:

  • Lead and mature the ECM Service (Service Management)
  • Establish operational excellence within the ECM Service
  • Establish good working relationships with key business stakeholders
  • Lead the technical design and support teams
  • Act as a thought leader, influencer within the organization as it pertains to the ECM Service

Must-haves (minimum requirements):

  • Experience as an analyst in enterprise content management
  • Business Analyst and or Project Management experience
  • Knowledge and experience with the Open Text product suite
  • Knowledge and experience with MS D365 and Azure
  • Strong communication
  • 10+yrs working experience in IT

Preference for:

  • Previous experience with process design would be an asset
  • Experience with electronic signature tools & mobile platforms would be an asset
  • Experience working with Sandbox Cloud Storage
  • Experience migrating/integrating ECM tools with SAP modules
  • Mentoring and training experience is an asset
  • Vendor Management
  • Strong Agile Methodology experience
  • Recognized Information Technology education – university/ college/ technical school or equivalent experience

Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other meaningful information:

  • You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
  • Hours of work are typically a 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, with some additional hours required occasionally to meet critical deadlines or schedules
