Senior Analyst, Master Data Services

Job Overview

Are you a highly motivated professional who is well versed in master data and looking for your next career move then we have the role for you. Reporting to the team leader, master data services, you will be responsible for the analysis of master data change requests (MDCRs) and will ensure that the implementation of requests received are carried out in accordance with our documents and procedures.

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform the role of gate keeper and provide mentorship to more junior resources on the team
  • Analyze requests to ensure that duplicate data is not created
  • Integrate a continuous improvement mind-set into how the team operates to ensure the most efficient processes are performed daily
  • Ensure data in SAP remains consistent, review data, and ensure the setup is performed correctly
  • Act as the queue monitor to monitor workload levels, allocate requests, and resolve issues that arise
  • Participate in ongoing design and continuous improvement of the processes and applications as it relates to master data
  • Provide accurate and in-depth analytical feedback on process compliance
  • Coordinate servicenow (SNOW) request creation, analysis, assignment, and / or completion

Required Qualifications

Experience and Education:

  • Three or more years of related knowledge and experience preferably
  • Experience in master data required
  • Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Intermediate proficiency in SAP required
  • You collaborate with others in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most value
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational effectiveness skills required
  • You hold others accountable and expect others to do the same, while being able to lead change through influence
  • Highly diligent, detail oriented, and adaptable with superb analytical skills
  • Strong priority management, conflict identification, and resolution skills to effectively manage resistance to change and offer new solutions and ideas

Working Conditions

  • This role is subject to a night and a weekend / statutory holiday ‘on-call’ shift rotation
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities, challenging demands, strict deadlines and will experience periods of high stress levels
