Contracts Administrator / Administrateur des contrats (Petro-Canada)

Do you want to join an evolving and dynamic team, supporting our new model to provide contract administration nationally for our Petro-Canada operating sites? You will be a critical resource to our sales and operations team’s success. You will support the preparation, maintenance and communication of changes to contracts and legal documentation, and liaise with our legal team and field selling force to support your work.
You will use your expertise to:
- Use standard document templates to prepare and maintain new contracts and contract amendments, and convert negotiated letters of intent into legally binding contractual documents
- Act as a technical contract resource by providing timely and accurate information to internal and external parties
- Ensure all contracts are properly completed and signed
- Provide administrative communication to numerous internal groups to ensure critical information is set up accurately in our systems and rents and commissions are properly collected and paid
- Follow-up and communicate contract expiry dates
- Support territory managers with various tasks, such as writing formal demand and request letters to our dealers, answering questions regarding contract history and providing training regarding changes to contract management processes
- Resolve issues and provide interpretation on company policies, procedures and guidelines
- Support the director and senior sales coordinator with various other centrally managed administrative tasks

Must-haves (minimum requirements):
- Fluent in French and English (oral and written)
- Three years of professional work experience
- A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office suite
- A highly adaptable personality, are open to change and model a positive, results focused attitude
- A detail-oriented style, with strong organization and time management skills in order to deal with tight deadlines
- Excellent collaborative social skills with the proven ability to deal professionally with both internal and external partners
- Alignment with our values of: safety above all else, respect, raise the bar, commitments matter and do the right thing
Preference for:
- Experience with various contracts, agreements and legal documents
- Retail gas business, commercial and/or residential real estate contract experience
- A diploma, or related post-secondary education, in legal administration
- Proficiency with SAP and Livelink
Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other important information:
- You will work out of our Downstream head office in Mississauga, located at 2489 North Sheridan Way
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
