Do you want to lead all of the related Supply Chain Management (SCM) operations including planning, scheduling, coordination, and procurement? In this role, you will understand and balance requests for materials and services, examine the needs of the business units and ensure fulfilment in accordance with the SCM operational model. You will balance requests for materials and services, examine the needs of the business units and ensure overall compliance with the key steps laid out in the work plan.

You will use your expertise to:

  • Plan supply chain activities to meet the requirements of planned activities and maintenance
  • Help the business units to effectively fulfill requests to make sure their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner
  • Take on and fulfill the supply requests of various clients at all levels of Suncor
  • Liaise with the buyer to confirm that requests for materials and services have been received and purchase orders have been issued
  • Manage the process for suppliers' delivery of materials
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and notify the appropriate stakeholders
  • Verify purchase requisitions usage of the required technical sheets
  • Support activities for continuous improvement and make recommendations

Must-haves (minimum requirements):

  • Three years of work experience and knowledge of warehouse processes in the supply chain field
  • A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • Fluent in French, with functional written and spoken English
  • The ability to work well in a dynamic environment, under tight deadlines, and you can manage multiple priorities on a consistent basis
  • Strong communication skills and a proven ability to communicate with internal and external customers and suppliers
  • The drive to deeply collaborate in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most value
  • Proficiency in SAP and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong communication and social skills  which allows you to build positive relationships
  • Alignment with our values of: safety above all else, respect, raise the bar, commitments matter and do the right thing

Preference for:

  • A college diploma or bachelor’s degree in administration

Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other meaningful information:

  • You will work out of our Montréal office, located at 11701 Sherbrooke Street East
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
