Sales Executive

You will grow the Eastern region SuperPass commercial fleet program through the Petro-Canada retail and wholesale channels by uncovering new sales opportunities and utilizing strategic sales capabilities to deliver sustainable growth and create a strong portfolio of accounts. 

You will use your expertise to:

  • Build new business opportunities to achieve SuperPass growth plans from various sources and secure new business, while satisfying client fleet needs at both our cardlock and retail network
  • Generate quality outbound leads and successful activation of inbound leads, with a disciplined approach to sales funnel management and shortened sales cycles
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals
  • Provide sales management and administrative support over a defined region
  • Execute SuperPass online functionality demonstrations
  • Develop and improve positive internal and external relationships by sharing ideas, fostering team building with diverse groups, and participating in the sales development process
  • Work collaboratively with the outside sales team and marketer network to drive sales growth

Must-haves (minimum requirements):

  • Three years of experience in a sales role that requires meeting targets, and fostering relationships over the phone or through email
  • Advanced negotiating skills to influence decisions and achieve consensus while building positive relationships and credibility
  • Sound problem solving and decision-making abilities and non-authoritative leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or Economics
  • Alignment with our values: safety above all else, stronger together, operational discipline, curiosity and lifelong learning, and act with integrity

Preference for:

  • A strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; customer relationship management (CRM tool) and SAP
  • Experience in fuel sales and / or commercial sales

Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other important information:

  • You will work remotely out of your home office most of the time with visits to the Oakville Business Centre located at 3275 Rebecca St, Oakville, ON L6L 6N5, as required 
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs
